I'm bored and am looking at a variety of cookbooks
What is your favorite type of International cuisine (Thai, Filipino, Japanese, Mexican, Italian, Indian, etc...)... do you have a favorite dish / recipe?
Don't worry about tomorrow. After all, today is the tomorrow that you worried about yesterday. Take each day as it comes...one at a time.

Re: Favorite type of food?
mmmmmmmmmmm Lumpia. My momma makes Lumpia for me on my birthday. But what's Shanghai Lumpia?
J-you crack me up!!
I love lumpia and chicken adobe. MMMM
My favorite food type that is outside of the norm (norm for me is Mexican, Italian, and generic American) is Arabic/Middle Eastern. Tabouleh and hummus and fattoush and baba gannouj and stuffed grape leaves and chicken kabobs, and oh oh oh mmm I'm hungry now.
I've been on a Mexican Food kick for the last couple of years. I think it might be fading in favor of any kind of Oriental. I discovered sushi this summer and have been craving it like mad. I was all over Italian the few years before Mexican.
Jenn~ I love me some Middle Eastern food too. I ahve no idea how to make it though!
Shanghai lumpia is what I brought at our last GTG.
I love tabouleh!!! My former aide used to always make it for me.
No!!! I would have never in a million years guessed that one
; )
It always counts for me
Heck yeah! Dessert FTW!
I love ALL food--- DH is a vegetarian, but I am a total meat-a-tarian (aka carnivore), and like pretty much anything... except for peas, I hate peas.
My fave is Mexican, and I make delicious spanish rice and carne asada from scratch.
I also love Greek. I am a vegetarian, and love to make homemade falafel with cucumber yogurt dip.
Indian is good on occasion, too, but my fave restaurant is in Salt Lake City.
