It's strep :(
They did the swab of her throat and there was some blood back there. I guess strep gives you little sores in your throat.
I dosed her with Motrin and she is acting much better. Poor thing was just sitting down with a sad face for a while. Now she's back to climbing on the furniture. Antibiotics will make her feel better soon, I hope.
I've never been one to get strep, so I don't really know how she's feeling. But I've heard from others who are prone to it that it's pretty awful.

I've always been prone to strep. Most years I get it between 3-4 times, but at different severity levels. Strep throat is absolutely no fun between the beyond sore throat, headaches, fatigue ... I just hope your baby feels better really really soon.
Strep really really freaking sucks. Let her eat all the ice cream she wants!

Isn't Motrin like the wonder drug? It always works so much more quickly than Tylenol!
