Hey there!
Mommyhood is going great! I love being a mom, esp to a little girl, soooo much! I can't remember life before her really. I'm a little (ok, more than a little at times) sleep deprived, but it is worth it. And she has slept 5-6 hours at a time a few nights (it isn't a consistent pattern yet, but it has happened at least). Mallory is a great baby- she has a super laid back personality and really only gets fussy if she's hungry. She eats like a champ and is getting more and more awake and aware these days. DH and I both think she smiled a "real" smile yesterday. It just melted our hearts! It is so fun to dress her up and play with her. heehee I'm soooo glat to be done being pregnant and really be a mom now, although time seems to be FLYING by! She'll be 1 month on Monday- where did the time go?? How is life at your house? How's little miss Emily?
Good to hear everything is going well. I feel you on the sleep - but I think my body is finally adjusting to the new schedule.
Things around our house are going well. We are starting to get in a good day time routine - which has been very nice. The only issue we have is about 8:30 everynight Emily decides she needs to scream and cry for about an hour (sometimes 2). Other than that - she's great! I took Emily in for her 1 month check-up last week and everything looked good. She had gained 1lb, 5 oz from her birth weight.
