In response to AmyLou having such a fun day planned, what is everyone else doing today? Anything exciting?

I'm actually getting ready to head to work to grade notebooks. It is going to take forever. Grading is definitely the one thing I hate doing as a teacher, but it comes with the job. I am hoping to finish grading and planning by 1pm so I can get outside for a bit. It is suppose to be nice again today.

We are all still sick so not much fun for us. I have runny eyes from allergies and probably won't want to go anywhere anyways. I have a huge day of cooking planned though! Can you contain your excitement?!

We don't have too much planned. My mom called and said her and my dad were cooking ribs at 2:00 so we are going there for lunch. I still haven't found anything for my interview so we are going shopping after that!

DH's b-day is today. We are going to his rents house for a little party then grocery shopping, then our own little celebration.

H is at work... so just me and the animals home alone today. Just got back from the grocery store, going to make some trail mix, spanish rice, and chicken enchiladas today. Good times

I have my annual doctoral program potluck at one of my professor's homes tonight. DH hates it, so dragging him is always fun. Also, a million years ago I told her I would do some research, so I am trying to hurry up and scramble and do it so I can bring it tonight. Somewhere in there I need to make potato salad, too.

A lot of you cook quite a bit! I thought I read somewhere on here that you post some of your recipes and stuff on a blog? Is this true?

DH always cooks. I hate it with a passion. I would rather starve than cook. That is probably why I was way skinner before I met DH. All of the comments about recipes and food makes me think that I might try to make more of an effort to cook. I might even start today because DH wants pizza and I don't really care for it.

DH has the car so I am have been cleaning all morning. I am getting ready know to do some college but would reather be reading a book. I have the tv on but no football yet its just on for noise so I am not sure what I am watching. I really don't think I will be doing to much of anything else other then collge and reading my book.

We went raspberry picking this morning, and got about 10 quarts of the suckers. I have made freezer jam (update to cooking blog to come) and we are freezing the vast majority of the rest.

Now I'm tired, and have to make a test tonight.
