Any plus size moms to be?
DH and I are going to start TTC soon and I still haven't really lost any weight. I guess my weight isnt an issue bc my obgyn never said anything. I'm 5'7 and I weight 180 lbs.
Re: Any plus size moms to be?
I don't mean to be rude, but what exactly is your question?
I was 5'7 and 165 lbs when i got pg, and I know plenty of people who were a higher weight than I was and had no trouble getting pregnant. I don't consider 5'7 and 180 to be plus size by any means, so I think you are over critizing yourself. GL with TTC and I hope thjngs happen without any complications for you or your DH!
I think everyone goes through that stage regardless of your size pre-pg. I'm not skinny by any means at all (I was a size 12 pre-pg) and I think it's pretty clear I'm pg depending on what I wear.
I'm dressed pretty cute today so I'm thinking of taking it a day early.
And ditto Cissy. Getting maternity pants helped a million times over. I finally didn't look like I was eating too much pizza!
i was actually thinking when i see you on thursday!
I was plus sized both times. You could tell I was pregnant, but I didn't look like I was ready to deliver the last few weeks. And honestly I liked it like that b/c I didn't have to deal with that huge belly being in the way or making me more miserable than I already was for the 2nd pregnancy. I had no trouble getting pregnant either. I got pregnant my 1st cycle trying with Cole and with Cate we weren't trying, but weren't preventing either. She was a 1st time baby too.A lot depends on what you wear too .. how tight or loose it is or how it fits you. Just relax b/c I can promise you there are a million other things you'll be thinking about instead of if you "look" pregnant or not.
I had the best of luck with Old Navy maternity. They are cute and cheap. The blue jeans were the absolute best and most comfortable I thought.
