AW: My wedding chef + coconut cake recipe
The chef who did our (amazing) wedding menu/food was recently on the Early Show demonstrating how to cook outstanding meals on a budget. Take my word, anything that comes out of his kitchen is phenomenal! He also demonstrates how to make his world-famous coconut cake. Even if you aren't a fan of coconut cake (which I wasn't), this recipe is amazing. Martha Stewart even had him on her show after trying it at the restaurant. It's that good. Just an fyi for any foodies looking to impress! I know I am totally borrowing these recipes.

Re: AW: My wedding chef + coconut cake recipe
Yes, we seriously lucked out with our wedding food, it was heaven!
It honestly is the best coconut cake I have ever had and I don't even typically like coconut cake. We had a guest at our wedding actually call our venue like 2 weeks after the wedding looking for the recipe because he couldn't stop thinking about it! Chrissy, your DH will love it!
They ship the cakes out for $100/pop throughout the year too, but they're especially popular around the holidays. I am going to attempt one myself for Thanksgiving! Good luck and if you try it, let me know how it turns out!
