Good morning February Lovelies! Wow, it is a ghost town here :-(
How was everyone's weekend? Anything new, fun or exciting?
Saturday, DH and I went apple picking and baby shopping with my cousin and her daughter (our god-daughter). Apple picking was a lot of fun! I have some of the pics up on FB. Yesterday, we went to Macy's and finally spent our registry rewards gift card before it expired - some baby things and a few kitchen gadgets that needed replacing. Then, I baked a heavenly apple cake with the apples from Saturday (recipe is on my blog) - defintiely worth trying if you love apples!
New belly pic is also up on FB and my blog at 24 weeks. This boy is stretching my belly to it's limits!

Our weekend was good. Saturday DH worked (thankgoodness bc he went home sick 2 days last week and he needed tomake up his hours). I cleaned up around the house. Saturday night was one of my sisters bachelorette parties. So I did that. It was alot of fun, alot more fun then i was expecting. One of my sisters (not the one getting married) got drunk, so that made it much more entertaining! We went to Chilis & the bowling.
Sunday I went to Orlando and had breakfast with my sister/husband, my cousin and her new husband of 1wk. My cousin moved to Cali yesterday w/ her husband so we were saying goodbye =( it was totally sad. I cried. Ugh. Oh well, thank goodness for Skype!

This weekend was so busy! I had to candles shows to do, so it feels like I never stoppped...I want 2 more days off!
And to make everything worse....half of GA is under water...cause its been raining here NON-stop for like a week and a half. The count from Friday is 15 inches....thats crazy. They are closing schools cause of the flooding...so this weather is making me sleepy also.
since its raining I have a puppy and a daughter who are going stir crazy...the dog wont go outside barely because he is a priss and doesnt like getting his feet wet.
Oh boy, I know that rain for that long is not fun. We have those spells here. I read on another board that ATL was underwater and the kids were out of school today. Wow! That is bad! My friend is in Macon, I will have to ask her if its that bad where she is at!
Well hopefully you will get a break today and your daughter and the pupy can go outside for a few minutes!
Hi Ladies! Wow - the board has been slow. It's been so crazy at work these past few weeks I hardly get on the knot at all. (Being busy is fabulous though, after being bored out of my mind at my previous job...)
I hope the rains breaks in Georgia for you Brit!

My weekend was good. The only thing I really did was get the car washed and detailed (it took all day, don't ask me why). Oh, and I went through a bunch of my clothes and am getting rid of them. I don't have unrealistic expectations about weight, so I got rid of stuff I knew I'd probably never wear again. I've struggled with my weight my entire life and know that It'll take awhile after the baby is born to get to where I'm comfortable (which is not anywhere near where I want to be).
I had a really nice weekend. We never ended up going apple picking, because I am waiting for the place to be picking honeycrisps, so I am uber jealous Jen! I had Friday, Saturday and Sunday off and we were HUGE bums all weekend.?
My friends were supposed to come into town this weekend for Alumni Weekend, but one had a family issue and the other wasn't feeling well, so that was kind of a bust - I wouldn't have taken all the time off, had I known, but it was nice to relax just the same. Sat we went to my college's football game and Kevin saw all his football buddies and was getting nostalgic.
Today I was supposed to be training a group of new employees but it turns out we all got mixed up and they are coming in tomorrow, so I had an easy day working on a few projects.?
