Many of you know I get kidney stones and that I have had to have surgeries to have them removed. I also get cysts right around the time of AF (which it is due to start any second now). Well, I am having pain in my left side, where I do have a stone, but they said it would take something big (like a car accident) to make the stone come out. I am hoping it is just a cyst. I don't have pain all of the time, just when I bend over and put pressure on it, which makes me think it is a cyst, but because of where the pain is, I'm not so sure. I really can't go through anything right now. I am student teaching for my post bacc and don't want to have to miss time for student teaching. Please send thoughts and prayers if you could.

Re: I could use some prayers
i'm sorry to hear you are going through all this.
have you been drinking a lot of juice concentrate? like cranberry juice or other condensed juice? my FIL had kidney stones for years and they started moving (he didnt intend for them to) when he started drinking and eating a lot of fresh fruit this summer. he had a 7 mm one move into his urethra. which they had said that they wouldnt move, like your doctor said.
good luck, i'll be thinking of you!
Nope... I only drink water, lemonade and orange juice (for the acid... it helps to break them down).
I honestly think it is a cyst because it is right around AF and (sorry way TMI) there is no blood in my urine *KNOCK WOOD* and that is a tell tale sign before I have any pain. I am praying so hard that I won't need to miss time for this!
Definitely thinking of you- I was terrified of missing time due to a possible heath problem I had during my clinical affiliation this spring (for physical therapy school), so I know where you are coming from on this one-
You are definitely in my thoughts and prayers, please don't hesitate to let us know if you need anything or just need to vent!!
Good luck and I hope everything turns out okay.
