Just another manic Monday
Good morning! Hope everyone had a great weekend!
Sad that I missed the gtg, but had a great time nonetheless at FIL's birthday party. The only downside was R's tantrum at the end of the night. She screamed and cried like I've never heard before. She hasn't had a bm since Thursday so we thought she was in pain from that. As soon as we got in the car she was her usual happy self, so I think she'd just had enough of the party.
Yesterday we just ran some errands, cooked dinner together (dh and I, not R), and played some Beatles Rockband, which I bought on Friday. It's so much fun!
Not looking forward to this week. Saturday marks 4 years that my mom passed away and it's been bumming me out.
I hope everyone has a great week and that I'll have some time to come on here more for a change.

Irma-so sorry about your mom's anniversary. Maybe you and R can start a special tradition and every year do something together to remember your mom.
My weekend was way too short Sat morning I woke up feeling really bad-dizzy,nauseous,light headed. About 8:30 I went to lay down for a bit and ended up not waking up till 11:30. DH said he tried to wake me up twice but I just kept snoring away. Any plans we had for the day flew out the window. We only managed to get one errand done before FIL's party. Which was so much fun (notice the sarcasam) it was hot and loud and they were only speaking spanish and I was just so glad that DH had us leave early. We ended up leaving at 5:30 and DH offered to drive me to the GTG. If I had known you girls were still around I totally would of went. On the bright side-DH felt so bad for me missing the GTG he says he owes me big time. He even volunteered to be a DD for the next GTG.
Sun was suppose to be a day at home but instead spent doing all the errands we couldn't do on Sat. But it was nice to be doing the errands with DH and the kids.Today nothing big except I promise Isabel we do some more experiments. I'm thinking today will be ice cube painting.

Well, I really was planning on going to the GTG until we got the call friday night that we got a house
and our walk through was at the same time as the GTG. Sorry. 
So yeah, escrow is suppose to open today and they want to close by Oct 31st and even more the sellers have agreed to pay all closing costs and pay for the warrenty. We're pretty excited. We spent pretty much the whole weekend in a daze. We were really beginning to believe we weren't gonna get a house. We're kinda preparing for something to go wrong because it seems to good to be true.
So Friday we went to Taco Joes to celebrate and drive by our new house once or twice. Sat, H had to work, so I relaxed, went to Taget and realized I went up more pants sized than I had thought so I came home and did the 30 DS and Wii Fit. Went with my parents to the commisary because they were having a bulk item sale, stocked up on a lot of stuff, then H came home and we walked through our new house again.
Sunday we slept in a bit, I worked out, went to the base to teach my AM class, then went to MIL's house for H's grandpa's Bday for pretty much the rest of the day.
Irma - So sorry this weekend will be difficult. I like the idea of starting a tradition with Rachel. *hugs*
Kat - I'll take you up on that DD offer!
Melinda - so happy for you. And no closing costs? Whoo hoo!
I'm a mess today. I still feel lousy and my ear is totally plugged up. I just left a msg for my doc. Maybe I need different anibiotics or something. I just don't want to be sick anymore! Then to top it off, I get to work this morning - in the high desert - to find that I left ALL my stuff, including my pump, at home. Now I have to totally wing it and my boobs will hate me.

Weekend was great. Worked from my parents house on Friday and D LOVED having a backyard. He really enjoyed spending time there that I think we might be going up more frequently than the 1x a month we already have planned...plus its a nice change of pace for us too
Fri night had dinner with my cousins and it was so nice to see them again.
Sat - took a 3 hr nap didnt get any of my errands done then headed out to the GTG
Sun - headed back home, stopped by my friend's house to take pics of her newborn for the birth announcement I'm working on for her. Baby was super fussy and wouldnt go down for a nap so some of the ideas I had went out the window but it was fun times and it was nice seeing my friend again. H and I went out to dinner at the Elephant Bar which was decent but the service sucked then I stayed up to edit my pics of the baby...hope my friend likes them!
I'm sorry your still feeling so bad.
That really sucks. Especially when being sick and tired makes you forget everything. Ugh.

It was a pretty good weekend. Disneyland on Friday was kind of a bummer. It was sooo hot. Dinner for dh's birthday was great. Other than that I read a lot and finished up the second book of the Outlander series. I didn't think it was possible it keeps getting better and better!
Irma-I'm so sorry to hear about that. I agree with Kat and having a nice tradition with Rachel.

My weekend was good. H and I had Friday and Saturday together. Friday we went to OC and had dinner wiht IL's. Saturday we went to Oak Glen with an old friend that was in town. We had a really good time. I missed her.

Becki-So sorry your sick.
For some reason the heat just got to me. It was perfect when we got there which was about 10. We had breakfast and then around 12 it just became so hot. I didn't feel like doing anything.
Also, David told T&C we were going and they wanted to go with us. He told them we were basically just going down for him to get his fun card and him to get breakfast. They said sounds great. So dh calls them in the morning at like 8 and they say they aren't ready to leave. He tells them in order to get breakfast we need to leave soon since they stop serving breakfast at 11. So at 9 we call them again and they still aren't ready so we say we are leaving without them and they can meet up with us down there. We get down there at 10 and we call them again and they are only just leaving Riverside.
So of course David is upset because he wanted to hang out with T and get breakfast with them. They only get down there like 12. They ask us how long we plan on staying and we say till 2:00 because we have to get back for David's birthday dinner with the family and they give us this bummed/frustrated look.
But it's totally not our fault because we specifically told them we weren't staying long and the main purpose was to get the fun card and do breakfast.
Yep, so that's why Disneyland was a bummer.
That's a little weird. How in the heck did it take then 2 hours to get ready? Especially when you guys called to say you were ready to go. I would have gotten mybutt ready in a hurry.
I don't really know. They do have two kids though. They did mention they had to go to his parents house to get their big double stroller that they use for disneyland trips. They live in a tiny apt so I guess they keep the stroller at the parents place to save on room.
I think though the main cause of the whole thing may have been lack of communication. I don't really know what the husband told the wife in regards to what the disneyland trip entailed. Typically when we go with them to Disneyland we just kind of go with the flow and don't have any real plans. We never go in the mornings because we aren't morning people at all and I don't think they are either.
Thanks for the idea Kat, I am going to do that. Now I just have to think of what.
