Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

So, we have made another offer on a lot. We don't like this lot even remotely as much as the other lot, but right now we feel like if we want to build this season (which we do to avoid the HST next year), this is our only option. It is a decent lot, not as big as the first lot, or with protected woodlands behind it, but not bad. It is in a cul-de-sac, which is nice. It is across the street from DH's boss, which isn't so nice, and 2 doors down from his co-worker (which isn't really a positive or negative).
Anyways, the offer is in and we are waiting for a counter. Hopefully, the guy wants to get the lot sold this year, and not wait until next spring, and hopefully we can get a better deal on the lot - but at this point we just want to get things moving so we can break ground ASAP.
