What did/will you eat for lunch? I made myself a salad. I put in romaine, asparagus, seasoned potatoes (left over from dinner last night), dried cranberries, and tortilla crisps. I made a balsamic and olive oil dressing.
What's for dinner? I think a roasting chicken from the grocery store.

What are you looking forward to (other than the weekend in general)? My sister and I are going out on Saturday, and I am spending Sunday with MH, looking forward to both of those days
Why haven't you been around lately/posting lately? Yesterday I was at the doctors and then work was busy, today I want to the doctors again and then didn't go to work after I don't use the computer a lot at home because I sit in front of one all day
C'mon,... now that's not entirely fair. I'm one of the ones who gets the rep for being anti-baby, but I think I've even proven that I'm not all bad and don't run around eating children or biting off people's heads for talking about all things baby.
Then again, there are some things it just makes sense to take offline or at least privately... I think we all have the common sense to do that.
I wasn't aiming anything towards you Paula. This board has been anti-baby for a long long time and it's not just you. This board just seems to get bored with baby talk so that's why it's kept to a minimum. I'm not saying it's a bad thing that we don't talk online about it. Obviously if we want something to stay private we keep it to ourselves. If we want to talk about it online we do. If someone wants to comment on it even if they are BNOTB that's okay to. After all it is a public forum.
Completely disagree. Go scroll down and now tell me the board is anti-baby. I have NO CLUE what you guys are talking about half the time - and I have no desire to know. I love to look at the pics and ya'll have some of the cutest kids I've ever seen, but beyond that I'm lost and I'm happy that way. I have nothing to contribute and it's easier for me to keep to myself and/or go to other boards.

Since im the only pg girl left, since caro cant get on here. I feel it is a bit different. I can see how people respond to things and ooh and ahh over pictures. That being said im confused as to what was said on here that should not have been said and kept "private". If its something i posted please let me know.
I mean i guess i figured since a few people asked me to post things like bump photos or crib pictures, i just did it rather then emailed it. If someones not interested in reading about my pregnancy no biggie, but at this point in my life it is a big deal after ttc for so long and having a difficult pregnancy up until now, so im sorry if it bothers someone but i dont nearly post all the things i could which is why i have a blog. Thats just my two cents.

I think you misunderstood what I meant, Stacy. Elizabeth had said she chose to speak to you about baby talk because this board was anti-baby; that was the part that irked me a little because I agree with Val - it's far from true, at least these days. Those of us not TTC or sans child(ren) don't really jump all over baby talk NEARLY as much as we used to, so I just felt that it was unfair to say baby talk isn't welcome.
When I said we all had the common sense to take somethings offline or private, I wasn't referring specifically to something that had been said that shouldn't have been posted publicly. I meant that there are friendships that have developed here; we talk to one another - here, offline, what have you. But there are some topics that it doesn't make sense to discuss here or there are better forums to discuss them on (again: offline, email, phone, other boards that might be more helpful.) I can't even come up with a hypothetical example. But I was NOT referring to one particular conversation here that had taken place. There are some topics, though, that I personally don't want broadcast across cyberspace (because after all... this IS a public forum and some of it is private), but I might choose to speak via phone/email with a few people privately about.
