Just wanted to check in how is everyones Job hunt or Husbands search going?

    This isn't exactly a job hunt situation - H is in the Air Force, so he has a job.  But he gets to apply for jobs within the Air Force if he wants to do something.  Today he finished up an applications for a new job that is a big deal (major career advancement if he gets it) but that would take us far away from DC.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he gets it, even if it does mean moving 3/4 away across the country!

    Good luck with it! I hope he gets what he wants!

    H is still looking. He is competing with people that have lots of experiance and are willing to take pay cuts for a job. He is actually thinking of Joining the Army. Both parents are in so he knows the ups and downs. He will make a choice once he graduates in late October.

    I got a job about a month ago as a receptionist.  I'm still looking for attorney positions, but of course there's nothing available for 1st year associates.  DH and I are looking into relocating to a better legal market after he finishes his school year in May if I'm still not working as an attorney.

    I hope your DH gets his promotion!

    Still no luck on the job front for me. Well, not technically. I do have a part-time job but I am furiously looking for a full-time job.

    We are also waiting to hear whether or not DH got into medical school...should know by the end of this week!

    Ugh, I can't even find a part-time job. I've been looking since June. It's very frustrating, but I'm doing my best to be patient. The good news is that there is a local photographer who seems interested in me helping him out, so at least that would be a little bit of an extra something; we haven't nailed down a time to meet yet though.

    Acp- I understand! H has been turned down for part time and full time becasue he is over quilified or under. Keep your head up I am sure something will come! I know it is easier said than done!
