Need ideas for baby boy birthday party in Dec.
The party will be Dec. 13. I don't want anything Christmas-y or anything with a character theme (elmo, baby einstien, etc.) When my older son turned 1 in the summer we did a nautical theme and it was perfect. I'm finding it much harder to plan a winter party.

North Pole/Winter Wonderland- Polar Bears, Penguins?
I thought about bears too! That could be cute. You can stick to one kind of bear or mix it up.
And I think penguins would be adorable. I'm picturing an adorable cake!
You could do a hot chocolate bar, it's wintery with out being too holiday.
If you want to stay away from seasonal themes, you can do an explorer/safari type party with khaki and white color scheme. Think binocular favors and compasses. Or how about a carnival/circus theme?
