My little AW

I gotta run because I have a 4 hr mandatory meeting for work. FUN!

But I just got our insurance approval for the IF drugs and the IUI for next month. We are so blessed to have G's insurance.

So here we go. Maybe October will be our month ** I hope, I hope, I hope **

If not then we will have to wait till December for our next try since we will  be gone during my fertile time in November.

Geez in December we will have been trying a year already. :(

Keep those legs crossed for me!

Re: My little AW

  • Congrats and good luck!

That is awesome, we had to wait the year before my insurance would even think about paying for an IUI, even with the PCOS diagnosis. :/

  • Yay!!!  Fingers, toes and legs crossed for ya!!

  • that's awesome!!! Good luck!
  • I just wanted to add that I know how lucky we are to have P and to have gotten pregnant with him so easily.

I know there are others who have been trying way longer for #1 let alone #2 then I have and I didn't mean to dismiss that or sound ungrateful for all we have been blessed with.

Melinda - that's because I'm 39. After 35 you only have to try for 6 months before insurance kicks in.

Oh that's right, I forgot about that.

And secondary infertility hurts just as much as first I'm sure. I really hope the IUI works. You deserve to have two beautiful babies, just as much as anyone deserve one.

  • Congrats Amy. That is really exciting news!

I saw an RE after trying 10 months and we tried clomid alone for 3 rounds and took a 1 month break and then were going to do the IUI. I know a lot of people hate Kaiser, but they do have a lot of positive points too.

  • PS. We'll keep our legs crossed. Don't you do the same. ;)
  • YAY!!! Congratulations! :)
Don't worry about tomorrow. After all, today is the tomorrow that you worried about yesterday. Take each day as it comes...one at a time. Midnight Baking Adventures Blog
  • I am so happy!!! I hope my good luck with IUI's rubs off on you. And you are SOOO lucky to have insurance coverage at all! We had NONE for IF.
  • I can't cross my legs right now, so is it ok if I cross my fingers instead?Smile Congrats, Amy! Sending baby dust your way.
  • Horray Amy! Congrats and I'm rooting for you!
  • P.S. I think we should all OPEN our legs instead of crossing them...so just for you I am sitting at my desk like a man! :-)

If this is what you're doing for good luck, I've found the problem. Wink

    XOXOXO *crossing eyes, fingers, toes*

    love you guys!

  • So happy for you and keeping everything uncrossed!  Hehe
  • This isn't a little thing...it's huge! GIGATIC! ASTRONOMICAL!! I'm excited, can you tell?

I think Tiff, Shannon, Kristy, Brandy, Becki, Val, Kim (If she can get them to), Lori, Leann, Kat and everyone else with a kiddo should cross all of their legs for you. All at the same time. Go ahead, do it right now.
