June 2009 Weddings
Dear Community,

Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.

Thank you.

Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.

Re: *cruella*

  • Today would be fine, tomorrow would probably be too hectic.  What do I need to do?
  • If you want to answer these, and either post in this thread or PM me, I'll start your thread:

    * Names of the newlyweds:

    * When and where they tied the knot:

    * Favorite part of the big day:

    * Where do you see yourself in five years?

    If you want to answer these, and either post in this thread or PM me, I'll start your thread:

    * Names of the newlyweds: Desiree and Aaron

    * When and where they tied the knot: June 7, 2009 in Chicago

    * Favorite part of the big day: This is a toss-up.  I loved the feeling I had the morning when I woke up.  I don't think I've ever felt so giddy and happy.  It was a really special time by myself, listening to some music, writing Aaron's card.  I was overwhelmed with positive emotions.  The second thing that really stands out about the day was the look on Aaron's face - at the alter and during the reception.  He was glowing.  We just had so much fun and really enjoyed each other's company all day.

    * Where do you see yourself in five years? I don't know where we will be living, but it will be in a big city.  I will hopefully be working full-time at a university teaching developmental psychology.  Hopefully I'll have a small child, and another on the way (max of two). And I will have visited at least three new travel spots by then.
