Where to buy crib bedding in Canada
Any ideas other than Sears, Walmart or Toys R Us? Online would be preferred. I found a set I really like but I can't find it in Canada and I think shipping from the states might be pretty costly.
Re: Where to buy crib bedding in Canada
Etsy has some realllly cute "different" stuff.
I'm trying to do the same thing. I found the bedding I'm in love with but they are shipping from the US and I'm scared at the costs. I then found it on Overstock.com but they don't have the matching mobile! Although the shipping costs weren't that bad I'd like to be able to get the complete set.
It's made by JoJo - Pink French Toile 9pc Set + additional mobile.
I'm going to ask a co-worker who travels to our office every month if he'd bring it with him on his next visit? I'd ship it to his office and then pay for any fees...it just might be my only option!
Let me know if you find any good sites!! Good Luck!
Just a thought - even though I read this EVERYWHERE before I had Lauren, I still went ahead and purchased a bedding set. It was a complete waste of money.
You can't see the dustruffle through bottom of the crib as the rail go down that far. She can't use the blanket, so it is hanging on the wall as decoration. You aren't really supposed to use the bumpers (I wrapped them around 3 sides but not the front when she was younger, just to get the look, but you need to take them out once they can stand). The mobile had to be specially rigged to fit on the crib because the rails were too wide. I do use the curtain and the sheet. So I spent a WHOLE lot of money, essentially, for a valance and a sheet.
I would be inclined to buy a gorgeous set of sheets, and gorgeous curtains, and forego the rest.

All J&K had on their cribs was the bumpers and sheets. We ended up getting J a twin bed for his "big" boy bed, so we couldn't even use the crib stuff like the sheet and blanket anyways.
I have no useful shopping suggestions but I think you should give us a link for the set you love!
I was in love with the idea of a crib set because I thought it was the only way I could decorate the "nursery" (really one-half of my bedroom), but in the end I passed on it for all the reasons Pamela gave
Jennifer - it's this one and part the reason I like it is the price.

If anyone's seen it in Canada - let me know!!
This is what we did
Ooh what a nice bed set! I have one that's similar that I bought from Toys R Us..or well I got it as a shower gift.
I agree with the other ladies, that it's all nice in theory, but all you really need is a couple of nice sheets.
I got mine from Funky Monkey Baby Boutique in London. Ordered it right from the site.
