You know the smell that some clothes have when you purchase them new off-the-rack?...does anyone know how to get that smell out of them? It seems like its most often in the denim purchases I've bought and I've tried washing, but it hasn't worked...do I need to use vinegar or some other cleaning agent?

Re: New clothes, old smell?
I know what you mean. I hate the smell of new clothes. I think it's the die or sizer or something they put on them.
I have started throwing some borax in with the laundry and really have noticed things smelling better. I think the best you can do is just wash a few times and it will eventually come out.
I know I've said it in other posts, but it is just such a great product! Try OdorKlenz Laundry. It gets rid of ALL odors. Put a little in with regular detergent and it will even eliminate the fragrance in your detergent. www.odorklenz.com
