For DH's bday in Oct I bought him tickets to the U2 concert at the Rose Bowl. Now I'm not a concert person, not really a huge U2 fan and really dislike crowds. This is the one band DH has always wanted to see in concert so I am more than willing to go with him and and get over myself. However we just get this notice http://www.rosebowlstadium.com/RoseBowl_U2-parking.htm (sorry it's not a clicky link)
It sounds like they are going to be organize and prepare for it and we are going to buy a parking pass and get there early but just thinking about makes me all antsy and nervous and shaky.
Has anyone ever been to a big concert at the rose bowl?
Re: starting to freak out a bit
I haven't. But I suggest you plan to be there SUPER early and tailgate. Get yourself good and drunk so the gitters go away.
After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!
I went to a Warped Tour there a few years back. Ditto Kim, get a spot by the exit. Leaving after the show sucks.
I saw U2 like 5 years ago (maybe...maybe more I can't remember) and they were awesome. I think you'll like the concert.

Xanax is your friend.
But, along with Xanax, I would agree with what everyone else said, get their as early as possible, try and park near an exit. Take deep breaths and try and enjoy yourself. I've never made it to a U2 concert, but i hear they put on an amazing show.
