Anyone got any patience to spare? It's only Wednesday and I'm running low.
First, I had a long day of my 2nd graders just generally not listening or paying attention. I'm completely exhausted not to mention hot.
Then, I came home to find my H was out and his friend's car was in the driveway. After leaving 2 voicemails, he finally responds to a text. He went to some yummy all-you-can-eat buffet at Botto's. I'm not sure when he left but it would have been nice of him to wait for me, or invite me to meet them there. But he didn't even leave a message or a note where he was. I know there's leftover pizza in the fridge and I'm also more than capable of fending for myself but still. I guess I'm annoyed b/c it is the first time since I started working down here and actually being here during the week that he's just left me high and dry without warning.
And lastly, I'm not sure what I'm more annoyed about-- adults who don't want to wait their turn and people letting them get away with it or myself for not just saying eff it and doing what they do since it obviously gets them the results they want. So I'm either annoyed at impatient people or suckers (myself) or maybe a little bit of both.
Sorry this was so long. What makes you cranky?
Re: Vent-I'm Cranky
I'm cranky, too. Briley drove my car on Tuesday and it was fine. Yesterday I went out to go to the post office and it wouldn't start. So he took a look at it when he got home and it looks like I need a new starter. I'm a dumbass and left all of the windows down and the sunroof wide open, so of course it rained last night. My interior is soaked. He's leaving for work this morning and comes back in and says "and oh yeah, you might want to get out there with a couple towels before your leather gets ruined" laughs at me and leaves.
My older daughter is the queen of all fakers and is complaining this morning that she feels like she's going to puke. I can't find the thermometer to tell if she has a legit fever (because she feels a little warm) and I know how she operates, she'll go to school and chump the nurse into calling me, I'll have to go pick her up and....I have no freakin car. So I had to let her stay home today. And now younger daughter thinks I'm the meanest mom in the whole wide world and "it's not fair".
eb629 - I can relate LOL! I actually love cleaning the house but H always tells me it doesnt need to be cleaned, I should just relax when......CLEARLY it NEEDS to be cleaned
Men have a totally different version of "clean" and that makes me cranky sometimes LOL!
