Re: Friday means...
I know all the reasons we aren't TTC yet and fully back them 100%. But that doesn't keep me from wishing we were ready to try because it's lonely being one of the only ones not TTC or not having kids.
I think i look huge in my new bump pic but im only leaving it up because so many people back at home and in our family want to see it.
I want to clean the house top to bottom but im not allowed and its killing me. I cant sweep, mop, lift anything at all or even do the laundry
Its frustrating because even though nick will do it, i like to do it my own way. (okay whining over)
MH and I are really trying to save money and build up our savings more. I have been fairly good lately but I have been dying for a massage. So I booked one for Sunday, but it's at a massage school so it's like half the price we usually pay for masages so I feel alittle less guilty.
Look at it this way: if you weren't trying to build up savings, how much could you have spent? Add that up. Now compare that to the half price massage. You won't - and shouldn't - feel guilty. LOL
Is this the bump pic you put up here the other day? If its different, you haven't shared it with us (and I must've missed it on your blog!)
And you KNOW we're the ultimate authority on how you look, right?
I am going to try and convince DH that we should go test drive this car very soon...
ETA - Which wont happen since I am losing my job next month. boo.
That's the beauty of being the one that pays the bills
Too bad MH keeps a close eye on the credit card bill and analyzes every transaction. LOL!
I have a feeling MH wouldn't tell me what he spends but he has to since I do the budget.
It works well. He never has to know, right????
Every time someone talks about breeding their dog I PHYSICALLY have to bite my tongue.
Also, someone put up pictures of pitbull puppies for sale in our breakroom and I really considered begging Greg let us have one. Mostly because I know pitbull puppies likely won't get a home FREE, let alone "for sale", and because I know we could give a pitbull a really good home and I'd make it my personal mission to try and help people understand pitbulls don't make bad dogs (bad breeding+pet owners+ignorance make misunderstood and messed-up dogs.)
I do not understand the popularity of vampire books. I've tried to read two and thought they were so silly and ridiculous. I'm just glad I got them from the library and didn't pay money for them!
I have an appointment to get highlights next week. I fully respect and think the stylist I just started seeing is PHENOMONAL and very skilled. I've never had issues with their color line. And yet, I'm SCARED to have them done. *gulp*
Oh, and I'm doing it on MH's birthday. LOL
It's still on my mind why our friends never invite us to do group things (like cookouts). I can't figure out if its me, MH, or the fact that we don't have kids.
I do feel like we're discriminated against for being the married couple without kids though. Even though we LOVE our friends' kids and at least I wish I got to see/interact with them more (Greg's never said that to me, but he likes seeing his friends' kids and gets along well with all of them.)
I want to kick my husband is the crotch right now.
I told him yesterday that I'd like to go out and celebrate the CPA exam on Saturday. Not necessarily saying when and where but he agreed.
He e-mails me this afternoon and says what day do you prefer I go golfing. Both days are crappy days but I was like I guess you can go Saturday while I'm out shopping with David. Normally he goes in the morning. What time does he schedule the damn game for? 1 pm!
What the ever living ! I know I said Saturday but now the entire day is gone because he will be golfing for God knows how long. I know I am making a big deal out of nothing but I really wanted to go out just the two of us, and not just at night. Do something in the afternoon.
He doesn't understand why 1 pm is such a big deal. It normally wouldn't be but he is playing at a course like 45 minutes away and is always a crabby/tired ass SOB after he plays. If he played in the morning at a closer course, he could have taken a nap before we went out.
MH was pulled over going 95MPH in a 55MPH zone about an hour ago. He called me over his speaker phone while he was still pulled over and the cop heard me screaming at him all the way back in his car! I am SO pissed. But he lucked out and the cop didn't give him a ticket (he would have actually gotten 4 tickets and his license revoked). I think I'm still going to ring his neck when he gets home for driving like a jerk!
(sorry that was more of a vent then a confession)
I couldn't agree with you more.
It's saturday but I have another one.
For the past three weeks I've avoided cleaning the bathroom that MH uses the most (it's a half bath) because he doesn't help me clean as much as I would like. I've kept "our" bathroom mostly clean, but not as clean as I would normally keep it. And he STILL hasn't noticed! I'm trying to decide if I just clean now or wait another couple of days....
I say wait a few more days to clean and try to go as long as you can stand the mess! Hopefully he gets the picture!
Whatever gets him to help right? LOL! Good job Rich (if you're reading this
)
