yay! Im quite excited about today! This week has been SOO long!!
We are not doing anything exciting. I think Chris is working tomorrow (which is sort of exciting because if he works he will have about 65 hrs this week, can i get a YAY for overtime!!!) (I feel a little bad about the hours he's working but we really need the OT!!! About 3 yrs ago he worked 60-70hrs a week, we didn't see each other alot but omg the money was good!)
I am going to hang out with my BFF tomorrow and possibly go to a country bar in Orlando. Thats about it for my wknd plans.
Sunday H will probably do nothing but recover from this crazy work week he has had!

I'm about 2 hours from starting my three day weekend..woo hoo!!! (office is closed Monday for Yom Kippur). DH just got home a littlte while ago after being away for work all week and I can't wait to go home and hug him!
Saturday, we're just planning on working more on cleaning out the nursery. Once we actually have all of the office furniture out, I'll start posting progress pics.
Sunday, DH is going to a Jets game with a friend and I'm going out with a girlfriend.
Monday, I'm planning to stay at home all day in my pj's to do some baking and sew up a pile of cute burp cloths for our baby and for friends who are expecting or just had their babies.

Happy Friday Ladies!! It has been so hectic at work that the weekend will be a great relief. We don't have any big plans. I need to get in my long run on Saturday morning (10 miles!) and then do some house cleaning.
Things are tense and busy at the farm - espeically now that we think DH's dad has cancer again and the doctor's can't figure out where it is. As fall harvest starts up, he has lots of doctor apts and I know it's wearing on DH for many reasons. Please pray for us if you would.
I wish an espeically restful (and cool) weekend to all the pregnant gals on the board!
Lisa I'll be thinking about your FIL and your entire family during this time.
I don't have any real plans this weekend. DH has to work both Sat and Sunday, but thankfully not all day. I'm going to my mom's to look at her computer. I'm hoping we can get all the stuff we are giving to goodwill out of the house and make a little progress on the nursery.
I am really looking forward to Tuesday when we have our next appt. Hope it comes quick.

My bitchy co-worker got fired yesterday! She stormed into the room after being called out to talk to the boss, and she says to me and other co-worker "I hope you're happy" other coworker and I look at each other and smile. this particular coworker, was filling in this week for the other full time girl who was on vacation. She only works the last couple hours of each day normally, to fill in after the early person leaves so that we stay in ratio until the kids start to go home. Well, now she has a full time job! YAY! so of course she is happy!
I am happy because I enjoy working with her and am so glad I get to work with her for most of the day now instead of just the last couple of hours. I also am happy because I don't feel like I'll be yelled at by the bitchy one, when she doesn't agree with how I am running things. she totally thought she was the one in charge, but she was very immature about things. (she would clean the carpet, pick up all the toys and complain because I would be changing a diaper or doing something else that had to be done and she would say "i'm not picking up the toys again) its not a contest to see who picks up more toys, its a part of the job. you either pick up the toys, change the diapers, wipe a nose, break up kids who are fighting, console the ones who are teething, actually play with a kid..... there are so many parts of the job, me, and the other girls, understand that 2 year olds make messes with toys and dont always WANT to clean up. we realize there are more important things than cleaning up! this girl, well she always wanted it cleaned up right away. so she always took charge of clean up time. and ALWAYS complained about it.
I am just so happy she is finally gone!
As to the rest of the weekend. We came down Fri night to MILs. Her birthday was thursday. We are taking her to dinner today, and then tomorrow leaving from here and I am going straight to a Bridal Show with a friend of mine. Her wedding isnt until 9/10/11 but she already has more planned now than I did 6 months out! LOL.
