name change help
RIght after I got married almost 3 weeks ago, I went and applied for a new ss card. I called the drivers license center (in lebanon) and asked about the new license. They told me I needed to mail in the application online. I have since gotten my new ss card, but never any response about my drivers license. That, of course, is putting everything else on hold because my employer and the bank need the license and ss card. Can anyone help me....what should I do?
Re: name change help
I know I'm a little late on this one, but when I went to the big PennDot in Harrisburg, they took care of everything there, including my registration and the title to my car. It may be different for me because I was transferring states and buying my dad's car at the same time that I changed my name.
When I did it, they printed my new registration and license plate right there, and told me 10 days for my new title. The lady at the desk said that most things they mail out take 10 days, so since it's been longer than that, I would definitely call the big PennDot in Hburg, and see if something got lost or something.
