Thanks for the advice and support. Everything was read and appreciated. It helped me a lot to respond, just in a sorting out my thoughts kind of a way. Sorry if it seemed I was trying to excuse or justify anything. I agree it's not right - it's just how much effort do I want to put in?
I think I just want to be done and move on.
I have some former coworkers who have become good friends and that's certainly their recommendation. All are SO happy to have left, even the ones forced out, and DH is practically happy dancing. He's wanted me to be done with the company for a long time now. He's never liked me working there. This is probably just the push I needed.
So thanks, I've saved the post so I can refer back to it.

Don't apologize. We all need to play the devils advocate sometimes in our own heads, especially if all of a sudden people around us are saying what we want to hear.
