Inland Empire Nesties
Dear Community,
Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.
If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.
Thank you.
Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.
Fund for Jewelyn's family
I have set up a Paypal account for Jewelyn's family. If you have an account with them, all you have to do is click "send money" and then enter the email address. I created the email address
4jewelyn@gmail.com
Specify the amount of money you want to send and that's it.
It will say you have sent the donation to Irma. I will be forwarding the money to Phil.
Re: Fund for Jewelyn's family
Thank you for doing this!
I just sent you something. I hope it went through!
After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!
In order for charges not to occur, you have to ask donations to be send via "owed" or some type of funky transaction.
I've yet to go on the link, so maybe you have disabled having donactions charged. I'm off to look.
Thanks for doing this Irma
Free vs. Fees
In some cases, it?s free to Send Money. Sometimes there are fees. Here?s how it breaks down.
Within the US (in USD):
2.9% + $0.30 per transaction
Fee is paid by the sender or recipient-sender decides. This is a regular account, no donations option. When I sent my donation, there were no fees incurred on either side.
I will keep the account open as long as donations keep coming in. At least a month or two, longer if needed.
Thank you to those who have already donated. They have gone through.
awesome.
Thanks Irma
