Re: What kind of liquor for 30th bday party to please all?

  • We're beer drinkers. But we usually have vodka (plain and a flavor like lemon or vanilla), rum, scotch, and margarita mix. Then we also have soda, tonic, pop, limes, lemons, cherries, and grenadine. This is usually plenty for our friends. Oh, and sangria or some wine (though few people drink the wine).

     Good luck!

  • rum, vodka, tequila, soft drinks, and mixers. Plus beer and you will be fine!
  • If you're building your bar, you don't need every liquor known to man.  Stock a good vodka, gin, scotch and tennessee whiskey.  Have a variety of mixers like club soda, coke, limes, cranberry juice, orange juice, cherries and that should suffice.  Personally, I'm not a fan of anything sweet, so I gravitate towards scotch or clean flavors like a gin and tonic.  So long as you have beer and wine, you should be set.
  • Hi!  We usually do beer, wine, sodas, waters and vodka and perhaps (if you like) one or two kind of specialty/fun drinks.  That should take care of guests. :)

    Cheers!

  • For the standard bar, I would say: rum, vodka, and maybe whiskey. It really depends on what your circle of friends usually like to drink. A few of my close friends usually stick to red wine, and the guys drink beers--so I have a very limited number of liquors (usually I save those for larger gatherings). Have fun!
