Houston, we are under contract...
... and the inspection looks good so far!
Last Sunday we went to an open house. Tuesday we wrote an offer, and Friday we finished negotiating. We had the inspection on Saturday, and almost everything is good. We will be asking them to fix a couple of things.
Next, termite inspection and appraisal. Closing is set for October 29. I will post pics once I figure out how to load them from my new camera to the computer. 
Re: Houston, we are under contract...
Funny thing is, we weren't really looking. We were sort of looking and driving through neighborhoods we liked. We went in the house and knew we loved it right away.
Christen, we can get out of our lease, but it's expensive. I'm ready to be out of the apartment though because I can't imagine having an infant here.
