Bought a Vacuum!
Yes, I know, exciting, huh? MH and I shopped around some on Saturday and wrote down info on the models we were interested in. THEN I went home and looked at the customer reviews. THEN on Sunday (on my way out the door) Kristin tells me kmart has a sale on Dysons, which was what we decided to go with.
Unfortunately our Kmart had sold out and I needed to go ahead and get one (our carpets were looking awful) so no raincheck for me (which I'm not sure if they do those). SO I went to Sears. And bought the Dyson Animal DC25 with the ball. I love it. I vacuumed the entire house yesterday.
I'm still a little shocked by the fact that I spent over $500 on a vac but I keep telling myself that it will last a VERY long time and I'm going to save over $125 a year in vac bags/filters anyway. Plus it's pretty. And that is the most important part of a vac, right???

Kmart had a different model at the lower price. If they had been in stock I probably would have bought that model though (it was really cheap - like $320 I think). Sears was actually cheaper than Lowes by $25 on the DC25.
