Hi girls-
I heard about Jewelyn this morning through my local blog, Northern CA. Our prayers are with her family and with you girls as well.
I unfortunately had my best friend lose her husband very recently, in Afghanistan, only 3 weeks after she gave birth to their daughter. I started a donation site through ChipIn.com which works through PayPal. It made it so easy for people, and was nice because it is a way for us to update and share links/pictures/etc. as we need to. Also, people can write comments for support, etc. and the "widget" can be uploaded to people's blog's, FB, etc. I know it was mentioned here earlier, but wanted to say from someone who actually has been using it this past month how much I really like it. Also, for the person who "owns" the account, it download's all donation information so it's easy to keep track of those who donated for TY note information. It's free and easy to get set up.
Just thought I'd pass it along.Again, I'm so very sorry, and will keep thinking about her family.
Re: Thought for donations
Great idea! I actually started an account last night, but thought it might be confusing to see my email on there as well as the 4jewels email. I am going to see if DarbyKat, who set up the 4jewels email, will set up a ChipIn account.
So sorry about your best friend. How heartbreaking.
Thanks for stopping by!
After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!
Thank you for posting... I am sorry to hear about your friend's husband- so sad
Thank you for the good thoughts and information you provided.
One of the girls was trying to get chipin to work last night- the site just wasn't cooperating... I didn't know much about it so thank you for the info!
If you have any questions about it, please don't hestitate to page me on the NorCal board. I'm there daily.
