Re: >>RockThis<<
The pretzel recipe was Alton Brown's, actually. You can find it here. I halved the recipe because it was just for DH and I and it still made four full-size pretzels and four six-inch pretzel sticks.
I don't have an exact recipe for the beer cheese dip because I pretty much just made it up... but, I used about:
8 oz. sharp cheddar cheese
2 oz. asiago cheese
1/2-3/4 can of light beer
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon mustard powder
1/2 tablespoon flour
Warm the beer in a saucepan (don't boil, though). Coat the cheese with the flour and add it to the beer. Add the rest of the ingredients until the mixture is completely melted and creamy.
I took it from the saucepan and put it in our Little Dipper crockpot.
