where to stay in the poconos?
I was looking into Caesars- but not sure about the whole 70's style love shack! So any other recommendations? I want to surprise DH with a weekend trip to the poconos- they say the best time to go to see the fall folliage is Oct 10, 11 and 17, 18th, I think they have a fall festival those weekends also... any suggestions? TIA!!

We're renting a private mini cabin with a full kitchen, living room w/ fireplace, bathroom, 2 bedrooms and a porch overlooking the lake at Ehrhardt's Waterfront Resort on Lake Wallenpauack.

We stayed at Camelback Mountain mainly because when we went, it was from winning an overnight stay there from a bridal show.

I used to go up to Masthope every year its about 30 mins outside of Hawley and 20 from Lake Wallenpaupack. There is no resort though you have to find one of the houses and then you can get passes to the horse stables and stuff its pretty neat!
If you google Rentals in Masthope you should be able to find a few houses
