Isoenzyme test came back and revealed that it is coming from his bones. Our pediatrician has tested him for everything that can be tested for here so we're going to the specialists. Dr Harlow, I think it is we're seeing. Harrow. Harwell. Something like that. The pediatrician told me exactly what he's a specialist in but I already completely forgot what that is. I wish I knew! I'm off to scour the hospital website to see if there's a staff directory that jogs my memory.
They're supposed to call me today with an appointment time. I hope it's not too far away.
Re: Going to Children's
Hopefully this is another step in the right direction for you and Ethan.
Good luck!
Good luck with everything. Keeping my fingers crossed for you that you can get an appointment very soon. :-)
Keep us posted. I hope it moves quickly. This needs to be figured out. Yesterday.
Know you have a few friends here in Vancouver! I'm happy to send you my number. You're not alone in this.
Thanks for the update!
Glad to hear that you are getting closer to figuring things out.
Keeping you in my thoughts.
This new doctor you have sort of reminds me of House (the wanting to solve the mystery part - not the crazy/***/drug addict side)
I hope your trip goes well and some answers come out of things.
lmao! My husband and I said the same thing. Except definitely without the craziness aspect- his personality and bedside manner is fantastic. But he definitely seems to be fascinated by the challenge of this. He seems really intrigued by the mystery, lol. It's probably part of what makes him such a great doctor, the passion for the work.
