Having a Baby Dr. Recommendations
Hi everyone~
I am new to new orleans and just found out I am expecting. Any doctor or hospital recommendations would be great. I am looking for something close. I live in between the Garden District and Uptown.

I don't know if I"m spelling the name properly but Dr. Perrett at Touro (I think) is highly recommended. I didn't use her but there is a "Best of" in the Gambit Weekly (a local paper type thing) and she's in there. I've seen her name on here bunches of times.
Come to the nest baby boards (or the new stupidly named Bump).
Join our wiki and tell us what your baby eats for finger foods.
congrats! i won't recommend my doctor, since he only deals with high-risk pregnancies, and i hope you don't fall into that category.
but i delivered at ochsner, and though it's not as close as touro, it was fantastic. i was there for 2 weeks, and it everyone was amazing.

I'll second Dr. Krueger at Ochsner. She's the best. She delivered my niece and will likely deliver my babies.

I haven't delivered with her ?because I'm not ready for kids yet, but my sister, her best friend and my good friend all did, and they LOVE her. My best friend is also a labor and delivery nurse at Oshsner, so I always feel safe there.
It really isn't as close, but it's not too far either!?
