Dubai-pics and about our trip!

So Dubai was a neat city. Very big city like, tons of huge malls. It is sooo hot there. As soon as you walk outside you are sweating. I thought Texas was hot, but it doesn't even compare. It is a good thing everything inside is super air conditioned, it is funny because you need a light jacket or sweater inside because they keep it so cold inside places. The driving is crazy! We took a lot of taxis and talk about some crazy driving. The number one thing I recommend that you have to do there is a deser safari! So much fun! They pick you up from your hotel and take you to the desert and you cruise through the sand dunes all crazy.It was so fun and I am pretty sure we had the best driver. He was awesome. After that they stop and let you take pic and have some water and then you have dinner at a Bedouin camp and there is henna, other stuff, and a belly dancer after dinner. Another thing we did was a Dhow dinner cruise where you have dinner on a boat that cruises through the creek there. The creek feeds off the arabian gulf. We saw a lot of touristy things such as the tallest building in the world, the Burj Al Arab (the hotel that looks like a sail). We went to the gold and spice souks, which were really cool. They sell tons of jewelry at the gold souk and spices and other stuff at the spice souk. We went to the beach one day, it is absolutely beautiful. The water is a beautiful color. There is also a mosque that you can tour that is really pretty. We went to the Dubai museum which looks small but it is way bigger than you think and very interesting. They have restoured the house of the former Sheikh and you can tour that also. It is really neat. We also went to the palm island that the Atlantis is on and that was pretty neat. We wanted to see the world islands but they are still working on them and you can't really tell much right now anyways. Those are just some of the main tourist attractions that we did. Sorry this is so long.
