Poll: Favorite Cartoon When You Were A Kid & Now
Mine when I was a kid is Alvin and the Chipmunks. I remember watching it every morning before going to school while eating Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls with my brother. I have been in my glory with the resurgence of Alvin love! The new movie was so cute and when I was shopping in Sams this weekend, I found the DVD of the movie, A Chipmunk Adventure. I tried getting DH to watch it with me, but alas, he looked at me like I was crazy.
Now, I think Family Guy is pretty funny. I sometimes get offended by some of the things that are said, but when I do I have to remind myself that it is a cartoon and getting offended at a cartoon means I take myself way too seriously. My favorite episode is when Lois saves Stewie's bear and he realizes that he loves her.
Re: Poll: Favorite Cartoon When You Were A Kid & Now
Currently, I'm loving Family Guy. It took me a minute to warm up to it's off color humor, but I never miss an episode. My favorite 2 are the Stewie kills Lois & Lois kills Stewie or maybe the Star Wars episode & the one when ppl thinks Peter's a deity.
Jack, Sydney and Carynne, Annaleigh, JW, Eden...forever in our hearts.

Early Childhood would have to be the old school stuff like the Flinstones, Jetsons, Sccoby-Doo and the like. I was also a big Smurfs fan but had a smal black-and-white set in my bedroom (yes, I'm dating myself), so after two years when I finally got to sneak into the den early in the morning and turn on the color TV, I kept turning knobs and hitting the sides to fix the picture's color. ;-)
I dig Family Guy and The Boondocks--neither of which should be watched by children without adult supervision and discussion. Plus I married an anime nut (pea-kay can kinda relate), so I'm subjected to Naruto, Inuyasha, Cowboy Bebop and Ghosts in the Shell on a regular basis. Those aren't so bad but DH's current obsession of Shin Chan is too much atrophy for my brain cells to handle. Family Guy is tame compared to that.
I think the Jetsons, Flintstones, or Smurfs. I even had Smurf sheets!
My DH and I also love Family Guy. Cracks me up!!
