I am so proud of him he is a junior in high school this year and is taking a fire science class at Crafton Hills College he just sent me a picture mail of himself in a full fireman turn outs, Im so proud of him!
I wish I could post pics at work so you ladies could see him
Re: awww
CRAFTY ME
my read shelf:
We love pictures! In fact we are pic hos. Post when you get home so we can see.
We are totally open to other subjects being posted but understand if we seem 99% focused on Jewelyn because we are.
Even J would acknowledge that life goes on and soon enough we will be back to WFL post. (left over pasta for me btw)
Amy I completely understand!
Ooh how cool- an awesome career choice if he goes into it after HS! Definitely post pics when you're able to!
(As for the WFLs... Chile Verde Burrito from Rosa Maria's in San Bernardino!
)
This.
I'll probably get this pic, before Melinda posting one of herself ::boo hoo::
CRAFTY ME
my read shelf:
Very cool!
(I had left over Stouffer's lasagna and some fries from In-N-Out for lunch.)
Wow, congrats to your son. My son is a senior and isn't motivated enough to do his homework.
He wants to be a mortician!! Ugh, teenagers are so much fun!
Sylvia-that is awesome. Good for him!
Mommanurse-I had a co-worker at Disney that wanted to be a mortician. This sweet little girl. I couldn't imagine why she wanted to do something so dark.
LOL
Mommanurse: He'll come around, I know I had to sit my son down at the end of this last school year when he got dropped from the AVID program for getting an F (how the heck do you fail AVID!) and I told him it was his choice he was eigther going away to college or goining the Air Force when he graduates but he's going somewhere so its up to him to have the grades that a school would accept.
He decided to take the Fire Science class because as faith would have it on our flight home from Cancun last month he sat next to a Fire Cheif, this man told him how he was gonna retire in 2 years and he'd be in his early 50's and would be recieving 98% of his check
If your son seriouse about being a mortician at least he's got a goal in mind :0) and thats a good start
Hope this works

yay, it worked!
My only complaint, um only one?
Thanks for posting.
Thanks for the encouragement. I hope he comes around. He says he realizes he has to do his homework and that he has been. We'll see what his teachers have to say. I don't care what he wants to do with his life as long as he has goals and works hard to attain them.
