First Random Belly Rubbing
I had to stop by the office at our apartments and D told the manager we were going to be buying out of our lease b/c I am pg. So when I see her today, she puts her hand on my stomach and rubs while saying, " let me wub your wittle tummy."
I think I gave her the side eye, and I think I looked a little shocked. I was not prepared for that, and really, I am not even really showing yet, there's nothing to rub but nasty bloat haha.

I have always heard of people rubbing people's bellies, but I didn't know it would be so awkward haha. I think I was too taken-aback to do anything except give her a strange look.
I would have been the same way probably, just standing there with my mouth open thinking "you did not just rub my belly!" lol
It will possibly get less awkward for you as you get more of a baby bump. I've been to 2 weddings this month and felt like a genie in a bottle at both of them. But it actually didn't bother me as much as I thought it would. Now, when I was 8 weeks and my MIL was touching my tummy, it took all I had not to say, "did you just touch my fat?" and then reach out and touch hers.
