So I was driving down Metairie Rd a few days ago and notices Sal's Snowballs was open! Yummy!
So what's your favorite type of snowballs, and what's your snowball stand of choice?

There is this little snowball stand in Westwego called Buck's and they have the most awesome snowball ever! It's called a SnoCreme Delight and trust me, it is delightful!! They start off with shaved ice and cover it with ice cream flavored snowball syrup, then they put vanilla soft serve on top of that, then condensed milk, then pineapples, then whipped cream, then nuts and a cherry. I only allow myself one of those a year (can you see why??) so I usually get either the rainbow (immature, I know), bubble gum (is that any better?) or wild cherry (finally an age appropriate choice).
OK, I want a snowball bad right now. MUST go to Buck's this afternoon, MUST go to Buck's this afternoon!

Hmmm...I don;t have a favorite stand, but I will try the ones you all listed. But my favorite flavor is wedding cake.

Papa Sam's on the Northshore and my favorite is Ice Cream flavor....I can't eat too many snowballs or these days I do into a sugar coma, but I want one now!
Oops..I forgot to say my favorite flavor..it's ice cream. Yum.
I have had plum street and Caseys before. Also there is one up on Magazine I have had.
Pre-K, Rodney's on Lake Forest in New Orleans East had the best (I might be biased because I worked there one summer). Pandora's on N. Carrollton (near City Park) comes in a close second.
Oh yeah, the stand right near Brother Martin on Gentilly is also really good!
My favorite sno-ball is Nectar Cream with ice cream on the bottom and condensed milk on top. Talk about a sweet lovers dream!
Rodney's on lake forest. It is by far the best. (I am bias, I use to work there) Sour green apple is the best. I drive out to the east just to get one from there.
