So I'm here to say Hi! My name is Sandra and this is my first time posting over here... I'm from The Knot IE Board. My husband and I got married June 27th 2009 at the Kellogg House on the Cal Poly Pomona campus. We spent our honeymoon in Fiji and Australia. If you have some spare time you can check out our honeymoon pics at JamieAndSandra.com I dont think I have even lurked over here I was comfortable in my bubble so I never went around to different boards. What did bring me your way was the loss of your dear friend. I would like to say I am so sorry I was not able to get to know her. I personally have never lost a friend... I did lose my mom at the age of 17 unexpectedly so I can sympathise with you with the lost feeling you have. When its something so unexpected it seems like you hurt more inside since you didnt have the chance to say good bye.
On a positive note I got my feet wet here so if you like you may ask away to get to know me better Im an open book

Definitely confusing at first but I think it's better overall. I love the "bump" feature for posts. At the bottom of the board you can select it to order the posts by last reply date so anytime someone replies it bumps it to the top. That way when it's busy you never miss anything. Oh and the picture feature is great!

Would love to hear about Fiji - we were supposed to go there too, but DH broke his leg and we were "stuck" in New Zealand for another week and a half. What did you think about Fiji?

Well if you have to be "stuck" New Zealand doesn't seem to be such a bad place
Fiji was AMAZING I think it has been my favorite place we have ever traveled to. The people are so sweet and caring. When your at a resort they kind of have to be nice to you since your paying so much to be there. But we truly felt like they just were that nice and not becuase they had to be. The weather was perfect and the whole place was just beautiful. I would 100% reccommend Fiji to anyone that could go. You and your hubby will have to make the trip sometime it will be well worth it!
