Well - don't watch the show all the time but the few episodes I have caught I always felt that Kate just henpecked John to death and I felt sorry for him.
But now that all this has happened and he is acting like a huge douchebag I wonder if she began henpecking him because he always acted like a huge douchebag and she had to be a pain in the butt to get him to do anything.
They probably should have never married - they never looked like a couple anyways

I think they're both crapballs who got married too young and got in waaaay over their heads and were just looking for a meal ticket to foot the bill for their mistakes.

I completely agree with this. But, I also think she should stop the show. I think it's much more about the attention she is getting now rather than the kids.
I totally think that the show should end. Now that the kids are getting older... good time to stop IMO... I haven't really watched any of the show this season...
I got married in the same place where they renewed their vows - and I was talking to one of the girls who worked in the spa. She said that Kate is just as b!tchy in real life as they show her on the show - but she has to be! She told me that Jon was just like another child... didn't help with the kids and just kind of wandered around all the time. She also said that the show makes Jon look like a saint compared to what he was like in real life.
I just read somewhere that Jon wants to 'delay' the divorce....shoot where did I read that???
Not that I'm defending her, but I believe they're under contract for almost another 100 episodes still and she couldn't back out without risking some hefty penalties. I think TLC is trying to make the rest of her contract easier for her by taking Jon out of it. I wonder if this is more about network greed for ratings and exploiting this family than it is about her exploiting her own family at this point. I definitely think exploitation on both ends has occurred that has led the family down this path. That and Jon and Kate were not a good match to begin with.
