Mom-to-Be Groups
Hi, I just found this board. I'm expecting a baby in May, and have questions about pediatricians and day care. Are there any type of mom-to-be groups or mothering groups for New Orleans either online or off-line where I could get recommendations and meet people? Our birthing classes don't start until April and I was hoping to get info before that. TIA

There are several moms on this board. The only online baby thing I know of is on here, but it's not local.
I live on the Westbank, so unless you live over here, you probably don't want my recs.
Join our wiki and tell us what your baby eats for finger foods.
We also belong to the Parenting Center.
Some other groups that come to mind are Infancy to Independance and MOMs Club (momsclub.org).
