Are you guys really going to Rome in 4 months, 4 days??? Awesome!! I love love love Rome. Love the food, love sitting all night in lively outdoor cafes drinking prosecco and then getting the world's most amazing gelato on the way home. Yum and yum.

Yes, I am going to Rome....but Todd is staying home.
I am going with one of his co-workers (I call her his work-wife). She was planning a trip on her own and Todd asked her if she wanted a travel companion and booked me a trip using airline miles and hotel points! I feel quite the lucky girl.
I am SO excited - I've been taking an Italian class for the past 4 weeks so that I don't sound like a complete imbecile. I'm also reading books on Rome and the story of the Sistine Chapel. Any input you can give me on my trip would be so very welcome!!!

We tried to pick a Marriott that was centrally located. Both she & I are using points so it had to be a Marrott....she lives in one just as much as Todd does. I can't wait to hear about Tim's "must-dos"....I am so excited!
