Just Venting
DH and I just got our marriage license a few weeks ago. We had some massive issues with the post office after the wedding and wanted to wait until our issues cleared before we paid to have our license sent to us. I also changed states after the wedding, so I've been waiting to change my license until after all the name changing thing has been squared away so I didn't have to go to the DMV twice. Well, I'm finally ready to get my new license, but the DMV by my house just closed on Monday. The one in the town over also closed Monday and is relocating. The only DMVs are rediculously far away and I couldn't get to them from work before they closed even if I tried. None of them are open on Saturday either. I think this is some kind of conspiracy against me. Ok, I feel better after venting.

Luckly, the company I work for had summer hours so I got off early on a Friday to do name change stuff or I would have run into the same issues.

TTC #1 since 08/11 IUI#2 = BFP!
All of our BMVs are closed on Mondays. Sunday and Monday are their weekend.
It's this way in AL too. Also, our county is in such a fiscal crisis that they have closed all the satelite court houses. The only one that is open is the downtown main one. There is a 6+ hour wait for car tags....way to go, Jefferson County, way to go.

Indiana DMV is really strict. You can't smile in the photos now. They take them really close to your face like a mug shot for facial reconignition.
You have to have like 1000 things to proove who you are.
