why don't they just make a general board? I'm not bitching at all, but bnotb seems like a general board to talk on.

Not everyone on the 'net is a breeder.
Perhaps those of us who cannot have/do not want/ are not ready for babies would like to log on and discuss things not related to babies or even how sick and tired we are of seeing pee sticks in sigs and having to see how often someone is f*%^*ng their husband in their ticker.

Why is it weird?
why does it have to be a general board? a general board is one where all topics are open including BOTB type threads.
Why do you find it weird that someone would want to go to a board that specifically Excluded BOTB type topics?
Lets take Babies out of the equation.
Suppose there were the following boards on a site
First time home buyers
Financing your first house.
Condo owners
Moving up to a bigger house
Remodeling your bathroom
Remodeling your kitchen
Landscaping for lots larger that .5 acres
Landscaping for lots smaller than .5 acres
Second mortgage help
Homeowner insurance nightmares.
And then they open a board that is titled
Renters Forever.
Would you think it "WEIRD" that someone who was not going to buy a home would want a board to discuss living a life that did not include home-ownership?
Or do you assume that because you are a homeowner that anyone who does not want to be a homeowner is "weird"
I just thought it was funny because the name BNOTB reminded me of when the New Kids on the Block changed their name to NKOTB.
