We just had a cold front come through, so thismorning I threw together some chili and it's been in the crock pot all day.. I can't wait to go home to a cozy, yummy smelling house tonight!
Re: WFD?
Tonight is fend for yourself. Jason works tonight, so idk what I will have.
But, we made crock pot chili the other night, and it was delicious! Perfect weather for it.

Mmm I love chili. I want to try my recipe in the crockpot sometime. Maybe next week.
Tonight's dinner is probably leftover meatballs.

Mmm... I love chili, I think I may make a big pot of that on Saturday.
Tonight's dinner is going to be walnut-crusted chicken breasts over gnocchi with brown butter sage sauce and spinach salad (I think) - I needed something easy because I'm making a double batch of pretzel rolls and red velvet cookies for tomorrow night's tailgate tonight too.

HAWKILADY STOP. WE GET IT. YOU'RE PRACTICALLY A GOURMET CHEF.
Just kidding
But you should definitely, definitely post that recipe. I can't believe that's your easy meal!
We're having lemon thyme chicken (a la Annie's Eats ) with rosemary roasted potatoes and steamed asparagus.
My thoughts exactly.
I think I'm resorting to balsamic chicken breasts and either rice or potatoes.
LOL! Ditto the comments for hawki, I wonder how much your H has gained since the wedding!
BTW, I made the most kicka$$ Spinach Salad dressing on Monday and we've been having it every night since (with crumbled bacon bits, mushrooms and hard-boiled eggs).?
It's so good and easy, here it is if anyone wants to try it:
-1 onion, finely chopped
-1 cup veggie oil
-1/2 cup sugar
-1/2 cup ketchup
-1/4 cup vinegar
-2 tsp worcesterchire
-1/4 tsp salt?
?
haha... your meal sounds very gourmet as well... and that wouldnt be my easy meal if it wasnt also our anniversary. and I'm cheating and buying store bought gnocchi.
