Pro Wedding Album Question
How involved was your photographer? Ours basically just gave us the possible layouts and we have to choose which photos we want (obviously) but decide what order, on what pages, and how many on each page. Like I'm making my own scrapbook, but he puts it together. For some reason I have the impression that most of your photographers did the organization for you. Thoughts?
Re: Pro Wedding Album Question
I sent our photographer a list of pictures with ideas for grouping them together. She did the layouts and added or subtracted pictures as necessary to make it look good. Then she sent me all the layouts, I made 1/2 dozen changes or so and sent it back and now we are waiting on the printer. I could have just sent her a list of pictures and left it at that but I asked for about 20 more pictures than she wanted me to, so I attempted to organize them a little bit too, plus I'm sort of a control freak and I knew what I wanted it to look like anyway.

Married
I sent our photographer long lists of shots that we both liked, and starred a few must-haves. After that, I left it up to him. He chose the final shots, did the layout, and sent me the proof.
I had quite a few changes to that, added and dropped a few photos, changed the order a bit, etc. and he made them right away. I am THRILLED with the final result!
He asked for a list of 100-125 of my favorites, and if I could "organize that list", that would be great.
I gave him a list of 5 "MUST HAVES"; 20 "Faves/Preferred"; and 100 "Likes". (We had about 1,000 photos total to choose from).
He did everything from there. I've got it already -- leather bound, thick pages, the whole nine yards. :-)
