I hope they get their computer systems fixed soon b/c it's driving me nuts!!!!! Of course the systems goes down the week I transfer most of the wedding money from my ING acct. The money has been taken from ING but it's floating in limbo above TD Bank
I have to pay for the honeymoon this weekend and it's not showing the $ as being available...ughh.
Anyone know when this is gonna be fixed?
Re: Ahh...TD Bank!!
TD Bank sucks big time. I've had nothing but problems with them since they took over and I really liked Commerce
I was clueless as to what was going on yesterday when I went to the bank to close my accounts. When I got there the girl couldn't close my accounts because of the computer issues. She told me she could give me the money form the accounts if I knew how much was in them?! What is that? I told the girl what I thought of TD bank and she said "At least you don't have to work for them!" I felt really bad for her.
They suck and as soon as their computers come back up, I'm leaving them.
That is crazy. They told one of H's coworkers the same thing when they went there yesterday. "Yeah, OK, I had $500,000 in there, now give it to me." Crazy.
I know it has been a crazy week with TD Bank but trust me they are working to fix the issues. This is an e-mail we just got so hopefully things will be restored soon.
Customers should be able to see their account balances at approximately 10 am this morning. We anticipate starting our transaction processing for Friday?s direct deposits shortly, and these will be reflected in account balances starting later today.
Customers can continue to make their transactions as they normally would ? they do have access to all banking channels.
Customers? money ? and their accounts ? remain safe and secure. We are posting transactions as soon as we can.
We will reverse any fees, charges, penalties, or interest incurred by our Customers as a result of this disruption. We are making every effort to resolve this issue as soon as we can.
We will work with our Customers on an individual basis to resolve any outstanding issues they may have as a result of the delay.
We know our Customers are concerned and upset. We acknowledge and understand their disappointment. We are sorry for the inconvenience this has caused them and we thank them for their patience and understanding.
Lucky for me that my bills are all paid and I haven't had any direct deposits.
Is TD bank going to rectify individual's late payment fees if credit card bills, mortgage payments, car loans, etc are late as a result? I realize that TD stated they would rectify any penalties but I read that as they would rectify any bank penalties, such as those incurred from bounced checks, etc. not necessarily that they would haggle with the creditors.....
The people on either side of me are literally working 16+ hour days to get this fixed. Their boss is literally camped out in the hotel next to the office and hasn't been home since last week.
It is frustrating but the bank is doing everything it can to fix it. If this is the first time you've ever had a problem with the bank and you've otherwise received good service isn't that still a good track record?
I'm actually calling all of the places I owe money to this week. Luckily they are all local and understand. So far I'm getting that there will be no penalities for TD bank customers this week. I just hope it is all straightened out by the end of the day.
This is pretty much the last straw for me with TD Bank. Like I said I've had numerous problems with them since they took over, zero problems with Commerce:( I still plan to close all accounts once everything is resolved.
