POLL: Halloween Candy

We're halloween candy passer outer virgins and it's been awhile since we've gone trick-or-treating.  No idea how much candy to buy or what's normal anymore so help me out here![Poll]

Re: POLL: Halloween Candy

  • I want the names and addresses of everyone who voted "1 full sized bar" because I'm bringing all 3 kids to your house! Wink

    I wrote this!
  • I think it usually depends how many kids you get at your house.  We get about 200 so we don't pass out as nice candy as my friend who get 5 kids--she passes out the full-size bars.  Then again, our candy is better than my friend who gets 500 kids--one piece of gum.
  • I voted 2 fun sized bars.  However, if they don't say "trick or treat" they may only get one, and if they have a really good costume they may get 3 or more.

I love this! This is our first year passing out candy and this is pretty much the exact plan I layed out for my husband!

Haha I like it!  Making those kids WORK for their candy!  It does irk me when kids don't even say "trick or treat" anymore...I mean have they gotten THAT lazy? :P

  • OMG, we've had a few who just try to reach in the bowl and grab their own or tell ME what kind to give them when we have a mix!  Anyway, I voted other.  We do one fun sized bar/packet but I'm considering giving out nickles or dimes.  That's what my parents did, plus it would really save me some calories!  And might even be cheaper Stick out tongue

  • We do 2 fun size bars, but there was actually a house in our neighborhood that passed out the king sized bars!  Then again the dentist passed out toothbrushes and another house had pennies....

This is what I do. But the teenagers get 1 piece.
