How was everyone's weekend?
Two weddings this past weekend have left me exhausted. Saturday's was supremely entertaining...especially the part when the MOH said in her speech, "Sally used to call me all the time when her and Joe would fight, which was alot, and I would say to her that I was Team Joe and that she needed to get over herself...how many drinks have I had?...Sally and Joe are the besht"
Yes, I wrote that correctly...besht. Nice.
Yesterday we drove around and looked at some open houses. We stopped at one in Moorestown and it was almost a million $$. It was gorgeous. I want it. The realtor was really nice even though we told her we def couldn't afford anything like that. Unfortunately, I think they had a cat and H's allergies were acting up all night from being in the house.

That MOH speech example is precisley why I will not imbibe until after I make my speech. It is my fear to be the slurring MOH.....

I swear I'm still recovering from the weekend wedding festivities!!! Izzy - that's a ridic speech... how embarassing! Luckily, I remained quite sober for my MOH speech - I got laughs, "awww's," and tears so I think it was successful overall
I had several drinks after my speech.
My sister's wedding was amazing - they got married in the Chapel at Princeton Univ. and had the reception at Crossings Vineyard in Washington Crossing, PA. Both were beautiful, and the rain held out!!!
My weekend was very busy.
We went apple picking and got about 60 pounds of apples. We then attempted to jar five quarts of baked apples. Only four sealed though. =(
I also made 50 shower invitations. They look fabulous if I do say so myself.
We also went to Ikea for the first time ever. When we re-do our kitchen we are buying cabinets there. Soooo cheap.
We also spent some time with our friends and their cute baby girl.
We also visited with my Pop because he turned 80 yesterday.
I got a lot done this weekend...I finished doing all my shower thank you's ....Hated every second
. Had my 1st gown fitting with Yeon and also paid off the honeymoon.
I'm glad everyone had fun at their weddings.....and Natalie your baked apples must be SOOOO good!!!!
We are having our wine festival this Saturday so now I'm preparing for that....it's smaller then last years which I'm fine with b/c I'm not in the mood to plan anything else, but I'm looking forward to eating lots of yummy food and trying some new wines.
