The IL's are good friends with this man here in town that owns an appliance repair and resale shop. He buys stuff from Sears and Home Depot that aren't working right and fixes them and sells them.
Well we bought our fridge from him, and he gave us a free stainless steel Bosch dishwasher! That was a couple of months ago. He finally got a nice washer/dryer set that matches in so he brought it today and gave us a FREE brand new still in the box hot water heater (ours has been giving us problems) AND a free wine fridge that holds like 50 bottles!! SCORE!!!
I think I'm going to get James to go to the specialty meat market here and get some steaks and we'll have him and his wife over for dinner to thank them. Between all the stuff he's given us, it's all probably close to a $1500-$2000 value!
