Where to have a birthday party for a 13yo girl?

A girl I babysit for is turning 13yo this January. Her mom and I are thinking of renting a room or doing some sort of activity for her and her friends.

Does anyone know of any place that would be fun and "cool" for 13yo teens?

Re: Where to have a birthday party for a 13yo girl?

  • Maybe Gameworks at Newport on the Levee?  I know you can buy unlimited passes that are good for a limited amount of time (as in a couple hours).  There are also plenty of restaurants there as well.  I'm not sure how rowdy or appropriate it is on a weekend night, but I'm sure others would.  Also, as long as you are out by about 10 or so I couldn't imagine it being a big deal either way.
  • Oh sorry, Gameworks is kind of like a Dave and Busters, but much smaller so you could keep track of everyone more easily.
  • Bonbonerie and have a tea party?

  • I was going to say Dave and Busters, because it's smoke free!  Gameworks is not smoke free and I think that makes it less kid friendly!
  • My sister and I took my mom here (http://www.letsgodoodlin.com/) and had a great time! You can paint your own pottery. I'm pretty sure they have a party room where you can bring in your own food and drinks.
